What I've Been Working On Lately...

Things are progressing well with my upcoming release, Last Resort: A Hartwood Creek Romance. This is the second full-length novel set in my fictional town of Hartwood Creek. This series is an interconnecting series, meaning you don't have to read them in order (but it's more fun if you do, because I slip in little Easter eggs).
I've received a lot of great feedback from my alphas, and have officially sent it off for the first round of edits. I will be doing the official cover reveal as soon as I get a clearer timeline on the editing front, but the pre-orders are already up if you'd like to pre-order it!
BLURB:
When Nellie Banks finds out she’s pregnant, she knows she wants to keep the baby. She’s prepared to go it alone—until her best friend Sage invites her to move to Hartwood Creek. They say it takes a village, and having her bestie by her side is exactly what she needs.
Even if it means living in the same town as Noah Wood, her former one-night stand and possible baby daddy. Talk about complicated.
Noah’s known as a playboy, but he’s determined to prove himself to Nellie. Their hot night together after the Witches’ Ball was the turning point for him. She’s turned him into a one-woman man and doesn’t even know it.
As the newest employee of his family’s cottage resort, Nellie discovers an enticing new side of Noah. With a baby on the way, pursuing a relationship with Noah is a foolish gamble of her heart, even if he might be the father.
And she really hopes he is…
Ideally, I'm trying to have everything ready to drop it early-to-mid June, so that I'll be able to bring copies with me to the Rose City Romance Conference in Windsor, Ontario June 20th-22nd. However, I've had a few health issues which have set me back, so you'll notice the pre-order release date is set to October 1st. It definitely won't take that long, though! Even if I miss my goal for a June release, this book will be releasing in the summer! I just picked October 1st because I can always move it forward, but pushing it can be more challenging.
Along with Last Resort, I have two short stories set in the Hartwood Creek world releasing in charity anthologies this summer! I had so much fun writing these, especially because they also include Easter eggs.
Love on Loan will be included in the To L.A. With Love charity anthology (releasing June 10th), with proceeds going to support the restoration of the Altadena and Pacific Palisades libraries, destroyed in the L.A. fires.
Destination Worthy will be included in the Ignited By Hope Charity Anthology (releasing July 1st), put together by the organizers of Ignited Books Author Event with proceeds going to Fred Victor, an amazing charity organization that fosters long-lasting, positive change in the lives of Toronto citizens facing the challenges of low income and homelessness.
